My less than festive spirits were lifted today courtesy of two of my senior chefs who bought me the one present all men want…
Grimsby Town Football Shirt
Fair to say it’s not been the greatest Christmas I’ve ever had, today was busy, guests arrived late etc etc. So now home for an hour with a bowl of reheated mashed potatoes and turkey gravy then it’s back again for another sixty covers.
Still, roll on January, I’ll be off and wearing my shirt to see Grimsby play Hyde (who?!) on a freezing terrace.
Merry Christmas.
By coincidence, we play Hyde tomorrow . And beat Grimsby on August 14th , I do believe.
