The Week in Pictures

A European dash…..

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, some projects in Switzerland followed by a visit to three of our restaurants in southern Spain. Back to the cold English winter and a ton of photographs to download and work through.
More about my tips later, here’s a few ‘off cuts’ to give you a taste…..

I took the SBB train from Geneva to Montreaux, the carriage was empty and the train ran, quite predictably exactly on time…

During my stay in Switzerland I had to visit a former hotel which we are looking at developing, I saw this old menu on the wall. A reminder of times gone by….

I visited a wonderful old restaurant whilst there, warm, cosy and very inviting from the cold outside…..

Fast forward to Spain and one of our restaurant projects with an enviable beachside location….I’m looking forward to working on this in more detail….

Here’s a snapshot from the back door of one of our kitchens in Switzerland. Could be worse!!

Wow, Miles that is some week in pictures. Slightly different to the ones I could produce :) .
I love the view from the kitchen.
I wish that this country would learn from the swiss rail system. It puts us to shame.
Most interesting, thank you for sharing.

    Miles,
Thank you for sharing your Week in Photos. I think you have officially started onto a new designation: Jet-setter.

    Miles,

It’s so kind of you to share your photographic tracks….. we’re now anxiously awaiting the Swiss hot air balloons and more majestic Shire fenland shots.

Cid ~ fresh from a visit to the Shire’s Hub art centre and a collaborative exhibition featuring Japanese and Norwegian sculptural textile artists, to warm up the frozen cultural brain cells….. and to have coffee and a bun!
