It would be a shame if they delisted the 450D, it's one thing having all of these choices but I think it can have the reverse effect in that when somebody makes a choice (finally) they will have nagging doubts as to 'if only I'd spent another £200'. Where do you stop with it?

very interesting, hadn't heard of this coming out.
I'm not reaching for my cheque book but it's getting ever more difficult to make a choice I think.
Why not spend a bit extra and get a 7D
If you're going to do that why not spend a bit more and get a 5D

Too many steps and not enough difference. All I would say is the addition of video and the pixel count will probably mean the phasing out of the 450
