It's funny, it used to be the rock stars that the super models and actresses went after. Now it's the country western guys. Women like cowboys. :-) Dave Matthews is a very commercial US jam band that is popular with high school and college kids. Catchy dance tunes. One of the members died last year in a ATV accident on his farm. They're from the southern US (I think, now I'm not sure). Virginia or North Carolina. They've been around for a long time.
