The Gibson Les Paul Jeff Beck Guitar
New Gibson Signature Guitar..The Jeff Beck Les Paul Oxblood Guitar
Legendary guitar makers Gibson have designed a signature Les Paul modelled on English rock God Jeff Beck’s famous model. If you want one then you’d better be quick (and well off) because in true, understated Beck style Gibson will make 150 and that’s it. Finito.
The first fifty have undergone a special ageing process to resemble Jeff’s guitar as closely as possible, not only that they have all been numbered, autographed and played by the man himself. Gibson have spent months in consultation with Beck about the guitar and it should be a wonderful piece of craftsmanship when finished. The other 100 will feature Gibson’s V.O.S. finish.
Beck first bought his guitar in 1973 during a tour of the US, he had it modified and played it on the seminal 1974 album ‘Blow by Blow’.
This should be a hell of a guitar to own.

MIles
these signature guitars are becoming big business especially the deluxe ones.
They’re very expensive and most get bought by investors and collectors - sadly never played !
It struck me as strange as well that Gibson are doing this, after all he is synonymous with a Fender Stratocaster.

Rod,
Wonder how much they will fetch? I know he plays a Strat now but it’s the Gibson on the cover of Blow by Blow-I should know, I used to nick it off you when you went out
