Return to Ghyll Head
A welcome return to an old haunt…
I’m going to be honest here, I just wrote quite a nice long piece about this place but my computer decided to play up and I lost all of the text. It’s late, I’m tired and I’ve still got work to finish before the morning so I’ll leave the pictures to tell their own story of a wonderful place which holds lots of special memories for me…..

Right click, select all, copy, then click ‘Save and Continue Editing’ keep doing it and never click Publish unless you have a copy of your text

Rod,
I had clicked Save and Continue Editing but my internet connection went down as it was saving it

Miles
hence this part Right click, select all, copy
It is then stored in your computer’s clipboard and you could just backclick and paste the text back in
Anyone reading this who comments can do the same before posting a lengthy comment that way they won’t lose what they’re typed out should there be a glitch of some sort
Cheers

@Rod–Thanks for the tip. You are King of the Computer for today.
@Miles–What a tranquil place you have found. Our CA reservoirs (which are nearly empty because of our three year drought) don’t ever look this good. For some reason this reminds me of the film “A River Runs Through It,” a wonderful film.

Annie,
It is beautiful, as for the film, you should read the book. It is a wonderful read.

Miles,
Really sorry about your lost commentary. It’s always well written and engaging. But I think you’re right about the pictures speaking for themselves. Am I alone in getting huge John Constable vibes from picture two?

GDave,
You know what it’s like, second time around is always worse!
Constable? now that’s a hell of a compliment, unless you mean the scenery rather than the actual picture!!!!
