Picture of the Week

My favourite photo from the last week or so…

After what seemed like a very long week away I am back home. Too tired to type much so it’s time for a cold beer, watch an episode of M*A*S*H, empty the washer and go to bed.
Two hundred miles away it rained all day, every day. Now I’m home to this…..

View from the Lake

See you in a couple of days when I get my energy back. Normal service will resume!

    Miles,

I don’t care about F numbers or E numbers….. I’m happy to gaze at this wonderful image.

You can see how people might dream about the Lady of Shallot looking at a sight like this…. beware of strange women popping up with swords, they’ll spoil your peaceful contemplation :)

    Miles,
I love this photograph, the light, the reflections and general mood. Can you recall if it was still at the time or if you were also enveloped by the sounds of birds/insects?

    Rod,
I took that around eight in the evening, I took one of a dark overgrown passage near the boathouse, it was almost black but the mark 2 turned it into a bright daylight shot-ruined the feel!!
    Used a 24-105mm.

    Anne,
It was a lovely late Summer’s evening and all was quiet save for the occasional moorhen. Quite perfect.
