Motorhead Record New Album in 2008
More noise from the boys!
Nothing to do with food this one, more a celebration of the greatest rock n roll band in the world. News has it that Motorhead are in LA to start work on the follow up to the 2006 album, ‘Kiss of Death’.
This comes after the announcement that Motorhead are to play the 2008 Download Festival in June along with Judas Priest and er, Kiss. Can’t have it all I suppose.
The news is somewhat bittersweet as a full UK tour would seem unlikely until next year when they promote the new album. Best break the news to my old mate, Geordie. November in Cambridge just won’t be the same this year.
As a footnote, congratulations to Robert Plant (ex Led Zeppelin) and Alison Krauss for their Grammy success, their new album ‘Raising Sand’ is well worth a listen.
On a sadder note it would seem that my favourite radio station, Planet Rock is to close down in March. This is a real shame, I always listen to this as I write my blog posts. Nowhere else do you get Gary Moore, Tony Iommi, Rick Wakeman and Alice Cooper as DJ’s. As I write they are playing a Valentines Day special, ‘November Rain’ by Guns n Roses and ‘The Rain Song’ by Led Zeppelin. If you have never heared the later then I would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome \m/
thanks for the heads up ! Let’s hope it’s better than the last one - more like Inferno !
Sorry to hear about the tour - what no t-shirts

Miles,
How many Motorhead t-shirts does the average rocker need? Don’t forget boys to pass the old ones my way…. this year thought I’d do a collage as a cover for my Fatboys during inclement weather

Cid,
I’ve warned you before about the t-shirts, it’s sacrilege in these parts!
