Merry Christmas!

My annual message of goodwill…

Just a note to wish everyone who reads this blog a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. I have been truly amazed at the number of visitors to this site from across the globe and I thank you all for visiting and continuing to return, it was my ambition to create a forum for  social networking and, thanks to you, this has taken shape far quicker than I ever anticipated with correspondance from Europe, America, Australia and South-East Asia.

I must thank all of those who have taken the time to comment and an extra special thanks to my ‘regulars’ who help to influence the content and style of the site on a daily basis. For those who have e mailed me rather than leave a comment, give it a go!

Lastly, to my brother who provided the expertise and most importantly, the encouragement, without whom there would be no blog or Gourmet Food Source. All I have to do is type the words and point a camera.

Thankyou and Merry Christmas, may you share great food and conversation with the ones you love.

    Hi Miles,
Christmas Cheer to you and all those reading here.
Sorry I have not been able to post as many comments as I might have liked. I have had a lot of diversions but still managed to have a quick read.
I would agree with Cid and not wish to miss reading your fab blog now. Well done this year and on your 2 Rosettes.
All good wishes for the coming year.

    Miles,

I shall raise a glass of something that only comes out at Christmas, (like a pint of sherry :) ), to the lovely Elsie, to Christine, Derfel, Rod and of course to you Miles for being such a good sport and putting up with my dubious comments!

I’m hoping to become slightly more eccentric next year so no resting on your cyber laurels….. this online therapy is truly fabulous :)

    Cid,
Salute, cheers, prost to you too, Cid. May your house be warm again and the sherry keep you afloat around the Aga. The bar and cafe facilities will be open at the Nean housefold for any friendly spirits flying past and possibly Three Wise Men :) .
