I suspect your waste disposal tax is your council's attempt to recoup the money that they have frozen in Icelandic investment banks. Quite what the money is doing there rather than being spent on public services lord only knows. And as for our our great unelected leader, it's shocking to think that, given that he was neither elected by the people or his party, the decision for him to become PM was made down the pub with his mate Tony.
