Make your Mind up You Tube

Music videos still playing on You Tube…

I was under the impression that Monday just gone was the cut off for UK music videos on You Tube. I checked back on my blog and the ones I posted are still on there, I then went onto You Tube and they’re still playing them. Bizarre!!

I’m not complaining, there should be a petition to keep them on there. My theory is that it’s a result of another one of our (unelected) Prime Minister’s stealth taxes.
Talking of tax, I’ve just been hammered for £97 a month to get my bin (trash can) emptied once every two weeks. I’m off to Switzerland to join the super rich, it can’t be anymore expensive over there.
Come on Gordon, call an election. We must be the only democratic country with a leader not elected by it’s own people. No wonder Barack Obama didn’t give him the red carpet treatment!

Here’s some Chris Rea for Dave from NYC…..

Great tune, thank you. They are toying with a per/drink tax here - 50 cent tax on every drink ordered in a restaurant or bar. Pretty soon they’ll want to tax you just to wipe your ass. I hate politicians with a passion.

He’ll cling on to the bitter end - he knows he’s finished so he’ll want as long as possible to sort out those ‘Non-Executive Directorships’

I’d burn him at the stake !

    Dave,
What a bummer! It doesn’t matter what you do in life there’s a tax for it.
They’re all the same, they’ll all retire to their swanky golf clubs eventually.

    Rod,
It’s what he’s left the next lot to sort out that scares me.

    Miles,
Ahhh back in the game. Sorry for the internet-blackout-related absence. I’ve got some reading to do, that’s for sure.

Ooh gosh, politics. Stay calm GD.
I suspect your waste disposal tax is your council’s attempt to recoup the money that they have frozen in Icelandic investment banks. Quite what the money is doing there rather than being spent on public services lord only knows.

And as for our our great unelected leader, it’s shocking to think that, given that he was neither elected by the people or his party, the decision for him to become PM was made down the pub with his mate Tony.

The vein on my forehead is throbbing again! Fetch me a paper bag.

Great track, Miles. Chris Rea is consistantly wonderful. The UK music industry really needs to stop throwing its dummy and realise that Youtube is such a valuable publicity vehicle.

    GDave.

    GDave,
You’ve been missed! Melissa threw down the gauntlet to you a whie ago which led to a number of ‘Reader’s Own’ posts. You have got some catching up to do :)
