Lobster and Crab Sticks

The Oscar nominees and Z-Listers from the last week or so…

Lobster:

1. Early morning walks before work when it’s minus four degrees C. The woods are simply breathtaking in every sense.

2. Growing red hot chillies the coolest thing in a garden.

3. Seeing old friends from my home town, some very fond memories were recalled.

4. Old school weight training, still the best.

5. A phone call from the Carribean makes the stress and long hours worthwhile.

6. New and improved fruit cage; twelve varieties, stepping stones and wood chippings for a deluxe finish.

7. The Canon EF 16-35mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens, the mark 2 version, a brilliant piece of equipment.

Crab Sticks:

1. Having to go to work after an early morning walk.

2. Stock chillies for drying not germinating :(

3. Shredding a £100 Dunlop tyre-sort your entrances out, Forestry Commission.

4. Going back to work after old school weight training-it’s not clever.

5. Three weeks without a day off-where have all the chefs gone?

6. Abysmal job applications-writing on note paper will not get you an interview.

7. Do I really need an ultra wide angle lens? answers on a postcard please…

8. Family bereavement- a time to reflect.

I hope yours has been a better week, feel free to get it off your chest.

Log ladies - always on time
Managing to launder loose suite covers at home, saving lots of money
    Harvey Nichols - otherworldly
    Stamford - just fabulous
REN cosmetics - check it out
Lime oil - a scent sensation

    Stink:

Work - will it ever feel good?
Not getting on with painting the kitchen - test patches everywhere

Bereavement, like Miles there has been sad news here too which cancels out all of the above. Find something to be joyful about every day.

Well folks the sewer thing should have appeared in the top list as a great achievement… and should the same happen to you then I highly recommend the use of a mask laced with t tree oil.

    Miles,

You must be joking… out of the whole clan I look the most beefy and of course the most resourceful. The rest are good at looking pretty and eating bread pudding. As I arrived they were happily discussing a great work of literature but by the time I left the subject had inevitably turned to women and how to get one. Along with the general haranguing dished out, I took on board that women generally let themselves go at a certain age. Not one to shy away from the truth I have to say he had a point…. so as from today I personally plan to lose some inches, grow my hair and gain at least a foot in height :) sewage workers must maintain standards in the glamour department!

By the way, the sewer thing still tops the earthquake thing on the Richter scale as far as I’m concerned… what next I wonder?
