How to Cook Pollack and Other Queries
It’s internet search terms time again….
I’ve written a post on this before, it may bore you to death but it is important for me to understand how and why people come to this website and how many bugger off the moment they see it.
I am revisiting this because after looking at my ’stats’ the other day one search phrase in particular kept cropping up; pollack and how to cook it. This surprised me because if I write about it I get an awful lot of people reading it or finding my website because they have searched for information on it. If, on the other hand I put it on my menu then nobody will eat it! What’s going on?
I do find it interesting to see what people type into their search engines and wonder what they must think when they hit my blog, i.e. the person who searched for ‘David Niven Scarf’ or ‘how to string an accoustic’
Here’s a few in order of most searched for and written as found:
manfrotto 190xprob/miles collins/cooking pollack/how to cook mackerel/motorhead new album/growing bhut jolokia/manfrotto 190xprob sucks/head cheese/bachelor curry/curry for students recipe/pubs with steak and kidney pudding on menu/do rabbits like onions and garlic/good wishes for my mother birthday/why have i got chicken legs/german carrier pigeon gallery/how my salon look/amy winehouse/how many children does gordon ramsay have/who is the father of mile/bringing beer from germany to england/what insect is eating my hosta/bag a pigeon…..
The bhut jolokia chilli post brings in a lot of traffic and I shall be posting more updates on how the demon chillies are growing in the near future. I may consider doing a ‘Ask the Doctor’ spot as there are a number of people wanting to know if whisky does indeed cure a cold, wishfull thinking, methinks!
Of all the food posts I have written the bubble and squeak one has been the most read.
Thanks to everyone who has found this site by default and decided to stay around, it’s much appreciated.

Miles
I think more people will find this of interest than you may imagine.
It is an eye opener both for the person writing the posts and regular viewers to see what the world at large like to see.
You are lucky in as much as you get to physically deal with all aspects of your most popular subjects and posts - I wish I could say the same
