Happy Mother’s Day
For Mum’s Everywhere.
Hope all of my visitors with ‘Mother’ on their CV of life have had a nice day, I haven’t so I hope you have!
Happy Mother’s Day to you all, especially to mine, the good Mrs C. who has done a stirling job of looking after three awkward buggers for over forty years-me less so as I live away which is possibly why I’m the favourite
I’m very tired which is why this is a short post, I’ve a mountain of washing and unpacking to do and I want to put my feet up with a glass of Riesling and watch the BBC Yellowstone programme. After that I shall be reading an as yet unpublished book by a visitor to this very site who has kindly sent me a version to read. That’s all I shall say for now, the person in question knows who they are and all I shall say is that on first glance it’s bloody good and I’m jealous!
Normal service will resume tomorrow, nice on to Greedy Dave for a great post and subsequent comments. Well batted sir!

Miles,

Many thanks for your kind words. You were sadly missed at the table
Mothers are used to awkward children but funnily enough would not be without them

I know you must be dead tired, and wishing that you were at Yellowstone, visiting its many beautiful sights. You truly deserve a break, old boy. I cherish my memories of going there, and hope to return some day.
Elsie, hope YOUR Mothering Day was a smash (even if you had to cook for yourself).

Annie,
I do envy you going there, it is a truly staggering place. I hope you get the chance to see the BBC programme in California, the camera work is quite incredible.

After getting slammed and not checking in for a couple of days I see a happy Mother’s Day post and almost choked - Thinking I had missed it by 3 days would have been a grave offense to my mother. Happy Mother’s Day Mrs C!
