Gordon Strikes Back!
Well, his father in law does…..
Enough already I hear you cry. I wouldn’t blame you for thinking I am guilty of Gordon Ramsay overkill, or god forbid, cashing in on his name (I’ll leave that to him) or, even worse, working the internet search engines to boost my blog rating. No, I simply wish to offer closure on my recent posts regarding his less than impressive ratings in the new Harden’s Good Food Guide. So in the spirit of fairness here is the response from Gordon Ramsay holdings…
Chris Hutcheson who is the chief executive/finacial muscle/father in law of Gordon Ramsay Holdings/Gordon Ramsay says: ‘Harden’s has to sell a lot of copies, so there has to be an element of sensationalism, they like to destroy rather than construct’
Erm, see his point as far as the press release is concerned, Harden’s want to sell their book. A bit like when Gordon admitted on a television interview that he had made up a story about Marco Pierre White organising the theft of a reservations book from his former restaurant, Aubergine at a time when he was himself promoting a new book. MPW is currently taking legal action for slander.
The thing is Chris, these are the views of the punters, not inspectors employed by Harden’s. We all get complaints and suggestions for improvement, nobody is perfect after all. So admit it, you’ve got competition right on your doorstep and what Harden’s seem to be saying is forget Miami, Prague, Tokyo et al and concentrate on London a little bit harder.
No more Gordon for a while, I promise. Unless he’s got another book coming out… ‘Gordon’s Microwave Cookery for Single Mothers’, ‘When Gordon met Nelson Mandela..and Bono’ perhaps?
Any suggestions?

That’ll be a post every week then
I’m waiting for his kids to release a book on making cookies or something.
Thanks again for the inside scoop on this one, he’s in for a rough ride when the media decide they’re bored with him and start publicising all this stuff you’re telling us about.
Keep up the good work
