I have not heard of this fish before and would agree with DC.  It is generally a case of education and somehow the opportunity has to be there for people to try various fish.  It has to be affordable too, as you said.</description>

I think people are bogged down in regional tradition, given the opportunity I'm sure many would try different fish.

Interesting you mention Cod for example, where I come from nobody really eats cod - only haddock !
