Annoying

The trials and tribulations of a blogger….

Just spent thirty minutes writing a post after a very long day at work and a hard dinner service to find that as the post was being ’saved’ ready for publication my internet access timed out and I lost the lot. It’s now quater to midnight and I can see my bed from the corner of my eye.

Question is…do I retype it all tonight or go to bed ready for a fourteen hour shift tomorrow. Answer…Go figure…good night!!

To sleep, Miles. . . to sleep.

The answer is, resolve to blog once or twice per week and try to stick to a schedule.

Don’t try to do too much and still work for a living. . . (trust me, I know.)

    Miles/Rod,
Since version 2.1 of Wordpress there has been an ‘autosave’ facility which backs-up the post you’re writing to draft every 60 seconds. It’s an absolute godsend. No lost posts ever again!

    Miles,

Have a nice glass of wine and don’t worry about the blog. We are so appreciative of your hard work, lovely writing and beautiful photos that we can wait a few days for another post. Take care of yourself first! And as GDave said, get that auto-save feature working for you.
