A Good News Story

Something to smile about…

After a truly awful start to the year one of our hotels which has recently reopened after horrendous flooding has received a four star rating and a good food award. I am delighted for the staff and in particular my head chef who has worked tirelessly since the day I employed him. God knows he’s faced challenges along the way, working for me is bad enough but…!

So a short post to share with you my plesure at his and their success, a good news story from that part of England is well overdue and hopefully we can go on from there and put Cumbria firmly back on the tourist map.

Finally, another ex chef of mine has just won the South West of England Chef of the Year award beating two restaurants each with two michelin stars, a fantastic achievement. One of my greatest friends and the father of my beautiful Godson, Taylor.

A good day….

    Miles,
Congratulations to you and your head chef. It is good to receive some reward for all the hard work you do. I wish you all every success. :)
Also “well done” to your former chef for winning the award. It is to be hoped that these successes will provide an aim and incentive to newcomers.
