It has been a funny sort of year one way or another. I shall approach the New Year with a fresh look and possibly surprise myself.

There are no complaints from the Nean household about this year. We have enjoyed family, friends old and new and travel.
Coming across your blog has been a great inspiration and I look forward to more of your great stories, recipes and photographs.

Miles,

I feel it’s just a matter of time before the humming birds start to appear in that hot house!

The work you put into your own garden will hopefully have a knock on affect for us all…. goodness knows my garden is due a make-over and I’ve got the designer wellies so no excuse really. This year for me it’s been about plumbing, electrics and building. Next year we look forward to pruning and planting which is so good for the soul and waist-line in equal proportions with any luck

The kitchen garden has taken a turn for the better with the addition of three polytunnels and a hot house

That sounds more like a smallholding - I’m jealous !
